Support for Organisations

About CAVO’s Volunteering service –

CAVO offers a range of services to support volunteer recruitment and management. We assist with promotion of volunteer roles, and volunteer matching, we provide information and support, training and facilitate volunteer recognition.

We work with individuals, voluntary organisations, community groups and public sector organisations to promote volunteering opportunities and to support individuals to find volunteer placements that suit their needs.

Volunteers’ week – Monday 2nd – Sunday 8th June 2025 #VolunteersWeek

Volunteers’ Week is a national campaign recognising the vital contributions of volunteers throughout the UK.

Each year, millions of people across the UK give their time to support charities, organisations, and local communities and we at CAVO encourage Ceredigion organisations to use this opportunity to celebrate the contribution of their volunteers and thank you. There are logos, graphics and marketing materials available to help you thank your volunteers and support your celebrations. Stay informed about planning and promotional activities through the CVON network.

Investing in Volunteers

  • Investing in Volunteers (IiV) is the UK quality standard for good practice in volunteer management.

If you want to assess the quality of your volunteer management and involvement, prove and improve the effectiveness of your work with volunteers, and enhance your organisation’s reputation, IiV provides the ideal framework.

Achieving the standard shows your volunteers – and potential volunteers – how much they are valued and gives them confidence in your ability to provide an outstanding volunteer experience.
